We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager with 3+ years of experience to oversee projects involving purchase orders above designated approval thresholds. This role is responsible for managing project execution from planning through completion, coordinating cross-functional teams, monitoring budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing, engineering, procurement, or industrial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects involving high-value purchase orders and capital expenditures.
  • Review project requirements, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with procurement, engineering, production, finance, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor project timelines, costs, and deliverables.
  • Ensure purchase orders comply with company approval policies and budget requirements.
  • Track project progress and communicate updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee contract performance.
  • Prepare project documentation, reports, and presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve project efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, procurement, or industrial environments.
  • Experience managing projects involving large purchase orders or capital equipment.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and budget management.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
